Third Qatar Youth Forum begins

The Minister of Culture and Sports, H E Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, opened yesterday the activities of the Third Qatar Youth Forum , under the slogan under the slogan ‘Ya Watni Ha Ana Za’ (Oh my country, here I am), in the presence of a number of officials, ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the State and a number of media personnel.
The two-day event is organised by the Qatar Center for Cultural and Heritage Events at Ali bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Arena
The event is being held in the belief that youth are an integral part of the development system for the State of Qatar, and in the context of preparing for a new stage to receive and host the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Qatar. Many centers, institutions, youth initiatives, and a number of state institutions concerned with youth activities and Youth Consultative Committee will participate in the Forum.
After  HE the Minister of Culture and Sports tour of the participating pavilions , bodies and youth centers, the main theater of the event witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU)  between the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Social Development Center (Nama)
The MoU was signed  for the Ministry of Culture and Sports, by  Director of the Department of Youth Affairs, Hussain Rashid Al-Kubaisi, and  for  the Social Development Center (Nama)  by  Director of the Department of Community Services, Maryam Bint Abdul Latif Al-Mannai.
The MoU aims to support and develop youth-enhancing activities and initiatives for the path of societal development and to provide services to the targeted groups based on the important role of the Nama Center as a major partner of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The Forum will also witness the launch of several targeted training workshops in cooperation with partners in the march of development and youth empowerment, including Qatar University and the Center for Social Development and Education Foundation Above All – Reach Out to Asia Program, the Qatar Leadership Center among many more. The Forum also creates an opportunity to present the Youth Development and Empowerment Department as an incubator for their initiatives.
